Introduction to Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is produced by heating float glass to near its softening point and rapidly cooling the surface, forming strong compressive stress on the exterior and tensile stress inside. This unique stress balance greatly improves impact resistance and ensures higher safety in use. With its superior strength and safety performance, tempered glass is widely adopted in both architectural projects and home interiors.

High Strength: Tempered glass is approximately five times stronger than ordinary glass.

Thermal Resistance: Can withstand rapid temperature changes (e.g., 5mm tempered glass tolerates ~200°C difference). Heat Soak Test: Due to the risk of spontaneous breakage, heat soak treatment is recommended for enhanced safety.
